Bursary Form

To apply for a travel bursary to attend the CAA 2023 Conference in Amsterdam, please follow the relevant steps below to apply for a bursary as a student or as a concessionary/low-income member. Additional information about bursaries can be found on the bursaries information page. Completed bursary applications must be received by 17 January 2023 at 23:59 CET, and all information will be kept confidential. Incomplete and late applications cannot be considered. All applicants will be notified by email about the status of their bursary request by 1 February 2023.

Students

Steps for Submitting a Travel Bursary Application

  1. Download and complete the Student Bursary Application
  2. Compile the following supporting materials:
    • A current CV
    • Confirmation of student status for this academic year. Please provide a brief overview of your current programme or research as well as information about academic funding sources, if applicable. Students must also provide proof of enrollment, which can be a photocopy of a student ID with a valid expiration date or a letter confirming student status from your university or advisor, preferably on university letterhead.
  3. Upload the completed application and file(s) through the online form below. If possible, append the supporting materials to the end of the application form to create a single PDF and name it “LastFirst_SBA.pdf” replacing Last & First with your names. If you are unable to merge your supporting materials with the application form, they may be uploaded separately as .pdf or .doc(x) files. Please name the supporting files “LastFirst_CV” and “LastFirst_Status”

Concessionary/Low-income Members

Steps for Submitting a Travel Bursary Application

  1. Download and complete the Concessionary Bursary Application
  2. Compile the following supporting materials:
    • A current CV
    • Confirmation of employment status, if applicable, which should list your current position and salary information on company letterhead from your employer. If you are not currently employed, please check the appropriate box on the application form and you do not need to submit any separate documentation.
  3. Upload the application and file(s) through the online form below. If possible, append the supporting materials to the end of the application form to create a single PDF and name it “LastFirst_CBA.pdf” replacing Last & First with your names. If you are unable to merge your supporting materials with the application form, they may be uploaded separately as .pdf or .doc(x) files. Please name the supporting files “LastFirst_CV” and “LastFirst_Status”
