At CAA’s 50th conference hosted in April 2023 at Amsterdam, Pallavee Gokhale, Parth Chauhan, and Ketika Garg, proposed a session dedicated to the work happening in South Asia – titled – ‘S10. Computer applications in archaeology – Bringing South Asia together’. We received great response – 12 paper presentations and 1 poster submission.
To encourage such dialogues and take archaeological research to next levels, CAA has multiple active national chapters.
For the idea of the national chapter, we received overwhelming overwhelming response from the Indian archaeological community. Here are some glimpses of responses from the prospective members.
